Welcome, Lady Ventura Book Readers!

Whether you've always got a book in your hand or you just can't seem to pick one up, this is the group for you.

Have you been thinking, "I wish there were a book club in Ventura where I could discuss with other women what I'm reading, get others suggestions and build a network of friends"? Well, I was too! After being in school full-time and driving to Simi Valley once a month for a book club like this, I just knew that there were other women in the Ventura area that were looking for the same thing. It's a terrific way to have great conversations, with other women about books that make us think, cry, dream or just laugh. Books will be chosen and voted on through suggestions of attending members. They will typically be fiction/non-fiction off the best-seller's list, one of the classics, or simply one member's favorite.

I can't think of a better way to spend one afternoon a month than drinking coffee, sharing a treat and gossiping with other women about something we all have in common... our latest read.
