The club was founded in 2004 with the intent of gathering Jeep enthusiast in the Raleigh area together for family oriented (JEEP) fun .The club has a reputation for welcoming everyone, young, old, single, married, novice or experienced.
Members' vehicles range from stock to heavily modified. 33 to 35 inch tires with proper gears and lift to match, have become popular. While we don't inspect vehicles before we ride, we do have some very strong recommendations:
All vehicles must be Properly Licensed, Registered, Inspected and Insured as required by the State and Federal Law.
Vehicle must be in Good operating order - We go to ride, not work on vehicles. If you break down, rest assured that the club will not leave you behind, but if you vehicle is questionable, leave it at home and ride with someone else.
Who can join?
Any Jeep owner with an interest in four wheel recreation is eligible for membership. No modifications are required for membership. We have many members with stock or near stock Jeeps, and a stock Jeep is a very capable vehicle.
What if I've never been off-highway?
No problem. The club has many members, all with different levels of experience. Some are just learning the basics of four-wheeling, while others have been doing it for years. Special care is taken on every trail ride to advise newcomers and teach some basic four-wheeling.
Do I need a heavily modified Jeep?
No, a stock Jeep is a very capable vehicle. Most trails offer a variety of terrain for Jeeps of all types. If you have any doubts or questions, just ask another club member.
