You might be surprised to see who is running...After candidates speak, Sam DeMarco will give us current news updates, to include his trip last week to the PA Governor's office. Bob Howard will give us a 10 minute round-up on the current buzz in the Harrisburg legislature. Kathie Marino will discuss the weekend Bus Trip to Washington DC in May. The last half hour of the meeting will be reserved for member discussions. We hope to see you there!

It would seem to me that we should go ahead and get behind Corbett for the reasons cited by John and Sam. We have so many fish to fry and we don't need to risk getting into a Democratic governor. Sam, darned if Judy Brown didn't show up at a recent meeting with a petition for YOU!! I am so excited and encouraged! You will be great! We have good people standing up. There is light.

Your absolutely right John. Communications have been this Governor's weakness since day one. But as I explained to the group, this election is not between Governor Corbett and "The Governor we wish he was" but between Governor Corbett and the Governor we'll get if he is not re-elected. As I conveyed Wednesday night, there are a lot of positive things he has accomplished or tried to do but if they do not get the word out on these accomplishments, they will not win re-election.

Its always interesting to hear views that we may not have considered. Still think Corbett is an epic failure on his communication. He needs to be on TV like Rendell; every 2 or 3 days.

I'd like to tell you how the "non partisan" League of Women Voters excluded me from tonights forum on Gun Safety in a Free Society.

Yes --- exactly how did they?

Bob--remember those confidential surveys they asked for both before and after the meeting in October? The ones they wouldn't keep or archive? They did and it flagged my name. At that point, regardless of no prior notice, I was told not to attend by the treasurer of LWV. I can send you the entire file if you like. Its a brutally long read but it does show how "non partisan" LWV has become.

I'll bring Petition to get Mark Mustio on November ballot; asking Registered Republican voters, who live in his district, to sign on - in support.
He has great endorsements, can use your help.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
