Absolutely. I've started companies but being an entrepreneur is really a mindset. It's an openness to attempt to go where no one has gone before. It's a willingness to see between the lines and say yes when everyone else is saying no. You can do this as a head of a company or in a role within a company.
I am a the General Manager of my current software company as well as a co-founder of Lechner Sydications, which is an eBook publishing company.
I am currently heading up a security software startup here in Victoria by the name of SparkTrust. I've been involved in software and product design for the last 10-15 years. At my core I'm an idea guy and I love bringing new products to market.
