Workshop Topic: RSA Encryption
Length: The goal of the workshop will begin around 10am and last approximately 2 hours
Details: Learn to do basic RSA public key encryption by hand using small numbers. We will briefly cover a number of different mathematical concepts as we work towards are end result of being able to encrypt and decrypt using RSA by hand. Some of the concepts that we will be reviewing include Prime Numbers, Greatest Common Divisors, Least Common Multiples, Exponentials, Modulo Arithmetic, Extended Euclidean Algorithm, Inverses, & the Euler Phi Function.
