Let's go for a run!

Join us for a run this Saturday! Two of our staff will be hosting the run through beautiful downtown Victoria. If skill level of the group varies we will offer two distances based on consensus. Run happens rain or shine! Look forward to meeting you!

Fantastic run! Just under 10 km in about an hour. Great pace, excellent route and some strong distance runners (including our two lovely MEC organizers) made for a marvellous morning. I did eventually get my coffee...

I'm not feeling very well, so I've decided not to run tomorrow :( And then I'm away again for two weekends. I really really look forward to the runs in March! Have fun everyone!

That's too bad, Melissa - my sympathies to you. Hope your ankle heals fast. But do look after it. I know only too well about over-training and aggravating injuries. Take care.

Disaster. Diagnosed last week with suspected stress fracture, left ankle. Prescription: absolutely NO running for the next few weeks. Cause: my fault. I increased my number of runs (on the road), distance and intensity too quickly when I decided to return to half-marathon training after a 2.5-year break mostly spent trail running.

Sorry to hear. Have you ever tried the shock absorbing insoles?

Looking forward to next Saturdays run. I spent last Saturday flying back from Florida (business trip) and really missed getting exercise.

Looking forward to the run next week, I've been traveling for work and haven't run at all!
