Great seeing everyone who showed up last night! We'll be doing next week same place and time! (2161 Haultain st. 7pm) I should be able to find a cheap analogue phone this week to plugin to my apt. intercom system. call me at[masked] or buzz Zastrow (150 I think?) ... We discussed last night that when bringing in poetry to consider, printing a few copies or having digital version links (for those with tablets or computers) would be very helpful so we can pass around and discuss details about a poem that we're focusing on. This weeks challenge: focus on writing a poem with weighted consideration of on the first line! Bring some examples of poems with strong first lines that help setting the tone and/or captivate and entice! Bring friends!

Hi Everyone, looks like I wrote down the address incorrectly (2126 and failed to recall that I needed a phone number...it's been a long week). Will catch you next time! I would also be happy to host sometime (at least I know where I live).

I'm so sorry-- something came up and I won't be able to come! Hopefully I will be able to catch this subgroup the next time it meets.

Sounds like a great idea! I'll be out of town during the first meeting, but hope to be there in May.

Hey everyone! I made a date for our first meeting at my place... hope you can make it! Invite friends! No need to have any prior experience writing poetry, and no pressure to share anything of your own! Please be encouraged to come with stuff to share if you like however, either your own work, or someone elses!

Sounds great! I don't write poetry, but I'd really like to... I hope it works with my schedule, which would be any day other than tuesday or wednesday nights after 6:30! I'd be open to offering up my place at 2161 Haultain st. email me at [masked] as I don't always see my meet up stuff in my inbox!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
