Thursday night long walk through Vic West and Esquimalt

Hi everyone

This is  one of my longest walks I offer. We will be exploriing Vic West and Esquimalt. We will be walking on a combination of trails and streets. It should be around 10- 14 km and we should be doing it in about 2-2.5 hours. There is many different routes back to our starting point so if we want to make it only 10 km or we can push it out to 14km.

Some places we will might see in our jounery will be Saxe Point, West Bay, Banfield park. but I am not telling you how we will get there.

Please note: if you use your phone app map it will give you the wrong directions. you turn into  the driveway across from the Gorge pointe pub.

This is a average pace walk we will be walking 5.3 - 5.5 km per hour.

Average pace  5.3 -5.5 km/hour

Please  bring a small flashlight and if you have something redlective please wear it.

I found the parking lot at last but it was ten minutes too late even tho I got out and ran looking for a pack of people! Lol bummed out but now I know to always go to the spot before hand to find it better! :-( have a nice walk you guys!!!

Hi everyone just a reminder my walks go rain or shine. Also a note to members who never attended one of my walks, we do walk at a average pace walk which mean 5.5 km per hour and this walk should take us 2 to 2 1/2 hours to complete. Also we do leave the starting point at 6:30 so if you are not there by then we will miss you.
    see you tomorrow.

Hi Sherise the easiest way to find the meeting point is to drive down Gorge rd. until you reach Tillicum then make a left turn onto Tillicum and as soon as you cross the bridge make a right turn and drive to the very end to the parking lot. Sometime people do go for Coffee afterwards. There is a coffee shop just around the corner from where we meet.
