Dance to "The Soul Shakers" at Swans

The Soul Shakers, that great band that performed at the Victoria Boaters' Benefit Bash are playing again at Swans. A number of us had so much fun last time, let's do it again! Just like last week with 'Rock Steady', I will be there at 7:30 to grab tables for us. That way we can eat if we want but more importantly chat before the band starts at 9 pm. There will be a pink balloon on the table so you can identify us if we happen to be all up dancing. Looking forward to partying with you:)

We had a great time....met a few people and danced a bit. I think the band was good, I agree about not enough dance floor. We left early, but that is no reflection on anything but us being tired. Nice to meet you all!

Excellent the band kicked up the music to a little less blues and a little more rock and the response on the dance floor showed its success. well that is how I guage success of a band when dancing is involved. Just need a bit more dance floor area lol. Great to meet some new boaters and make some new friends.

I refrained from RSVPing on this one because I had been hoping to be able to show up. However I have some other things I need to take care of this evening in preparation for an upcoming extended trip for work. Hope you're all having fun tonight and I get to see you again soon.

missed you but forced ourselves to have fun without you, the band kicked up the music to a little less blues and a little more rock and the response on the dance floor showed its success. well that is how I guage success of a band when dancing is involved.

Absolutely...that's the whole point. Bring as many friends as you like. Just change your RSVP to reflect the number of guests or tell me & I will change it for you...so I have an idea of how many seats to save:)

No by all means, you don't have to dance, just come & enjoy--that's the whole point. Last time all the non-dancers got so enthused they got up & danced anyways & really enjoyed themselves but by no means is it mandatory. It's your presence we want, not necessarily your dancing skills:)

I didn't say I wasn't going to dance -- I'm just not going to dance very well. :-)

How sad is that! The Soul Shakers will be playing again at Swans on Saturday March 22, so mark it on your calendar. Also looking at going to The Loghouse in Langford to see Rock Steady in two weeks, Feb 21st. Hope to see you at both of those!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
