One of our members suggested we should have a summer picnic. This sounds like fun and I thought I would tag the picnic onto a visit to Keat's House (nearly a Victorian) followed by a picnic on Hampstead Heath. Feel free to skip the house and join us for a picnic.
This link gives location, travel and admission price details http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/things-to-do/attractions-around-london/keats-house/Pages/Visit-us.aspx I will go to Hampstead Tube and meet those travelling this way at 1.00pm. You may prefer to travel to Hampstead Heath which is on the overground, take a bus or even drive - in which case I will meet you outside the house at 1.30pm. I will check out a good spot on the heath for a picnic. If you only want to have a picnic, meet us outside Keats House at 2.30pm.
Bring a little food and drink (alcoholic or soft) to share. What did Victorians take on their picnics? I will also bring a table cloth, paper plates, plastic cups and cutlery. You may also want something to sit on.
If it is raining, we will find a cafe or pub.
Hope these arrangements aren't too complicated - feel free to contact me for clarification. If you RSVP, I will contact you nearer the time for details of when/where you will meet me.
