Tell us something about yourself!

I'm originally from Melbourne, love travelling, writing, skiing, reading, and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone and into a whole new experience.

Why would you like to join the group?

I'm looking to meet fellow expats/travellers going through the same experiences and build my social network here. Girls are just easier to talk to sometimes!

Why are you a girl gone international?

I haven't been home in 2 years, spent them travelling throughout Europe as a Tour Guide for Topdeck so pretty interested in different cultures and countries. Although I've travelled mostly in Europe have also loved South East Asia, the US, UK & Canada. Plus I have a list a mile long of other countries i'm dying to visit. Mostly though, I like to see the world through someone else's eyes and travelling internationally is the best way to do it.

Why are you in Vienna?

I met a boy in January of this year while working in Soll (Tyrol). Despite all urban myths that you can't meet the love of your life in a bar, I did. He lives and works here and after my 2 years with no home and living out of a backpack Vienna seemed like a heavenly idea. Its yet to prove me wrong!!

Describe your idea of a perfect weekend in Vienna :)

If its summer? Brunch on Burggasse, a stroll through the city centre meandering down to the riverside bars with friends to bask in the sunshine and have a few drinks at Hermann's Beach Bar. Sunday would be a sleep in then hike/walk in the Vienna Woods if its not too warm. Ideally dinner would be at 1070 with good wine and good company.

I'm an Aussie recently moved to Vienna. After 2 years of trip leading throughout Europe i'm happy to be settling into Viennese life and facing the challenges of work, language, cold winters and the expat life!!
