Tell us something about yourself!

Until November 2012, I was living in Miami, Fl where I was working as a Director for a special needs school. I have a doctorate in Psychology and truly loved being the Principal and working with children with Autism. I moved to Vienna after my fiance decided to leave Miami and return to Vienna, where he had lived the past 15 years prior to us meeting. I enjoy being outdoors, exploring the city and new restaurants, going to the movies, reading, and sports such as skiing, biking, and many others.

Why would you like to join the group?

German is my native language and although I have enjoyed being back in Europe, it has been a big adjustment in many ways, mostly in the social aspect, and I am hoping to meet some new people, and hopefully establish some new friendships :)

Why are you a girl gone international?

I am a native born German and moved to the states at age 11 when my mother married. We moved to Pennsylvania, and at age 14, I attended Boarding School in Maryland during my High School years. Here, I had the opportunity to travel all over the US and Europe with friends and family and found my love for all that is international. At age 18 I moved to Florida for college, where I lived until November 2012. While in college, I continued to travel and explore and worked with individuals of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Why are you in Vienna?

Love makes us do crazy things, and in my case, it made me decide to follow my heart, and fiance, to Vienna, when he moved back to Vienna after working in Miami, FL for 3 years.

Hi :) My name is Anja. I am a native born German who recently relocated to Vienna to follow my fiance after living in the states for 23 years. Looking to meet some new and interesting people in my new home city.
