    Thanks for the great talks! Just for completeness I am posting them here (seems I can not update past meetups and add them to the description):

    * Basic R topic: Fabs - "Vectorization" (45')

    * Advanced R topic: Matthias - "R Packaging" (45')

    Sorry with the confusion about presentations, try to do better next time ;-)

    Hi everybody! I just joined the meetup cause I wanted to be in touch with R users in Austria. I am just arrived from Barcelona, where I used to be a co-organizer of the Barcelona R Users Group (follow the very interesting stuff they are doing there http://rugbcn.wordpress.com/). The thing is that I'm living in Linz, so I'm afraid I won't be able to come as often as I would like. Hope to see you soon anyway :)

      Hi Fabs! Hope to meet the group in Vienna as well. Regarding your comment, I just wanted to point out that the R users group of Barcelona has not a unique language. Anyway, I would never consider the use of a language as a sad fact. Besides, I particularly would like to point you to the great job my colleagues have done with Relenium http://rugbcn.wordpre.... Don't miss this package!

      Just to be clear: The use of a language is *not* sad, of course! I just missed an EN translation button or something on the rugbcn site. @Relenium: looks nice, I do this with selenium python bindings atm...

    Dear Friends of functional programming as I have announced at our last meeting the Lambdaheads will be raised from the dead and I am happy to say https://metalab.at/wiki/Lambdahe... is alive.

    Hi R users and data scientists! For this meetup we still need some talks. Come on, don't be shy? Who will talk about how he/she uses R for work?

    Hi R users and data scientists! For this meetup we still need some talks. Talks can be about R, statistics or any data science topic in fact. (See http://www.meetup.com/ViennaR/p... for details). Please let's have some discussion here!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
