Vietnam is an amazing country with over 85 million people that lies in the middle of South East Asia.  It boasts large tropical forrest, numerous ethnic groups, colourful history and yet its strong resilience to pessimism is what defines the Vietnamese people.

UK is the home of more than 50,000 Vietnamese, many are first generation who first arrived in the early 80s.  They are now joined by over 8,000 overseas students from Vietnam. London has the largest concerntration of Vietnamese, and is the best place to experience Vietnamese culture.

Vietnamese Appreciation Society is about enriching London's culture through entertaining individuals with Vietnamese traditions and language via social and cultural events.

    New Year's Fireworks, Waterloo Bridge
    This is the best location if you wish to watch the New Year's Fireworks. It'll be freezing and getting home maybe a little hectic but it'll be worth it.
