Mien Tay cuisine in south west London

Hope you got a wonderful summer and enjoyed all the excitement during the Olympics.

Now let’s join together for a new exciting adventure to Vietnamese "Mien Tay" cuisine.

The restaurant is named Mien Tay after the area of South Vietnam from which our family originates. Their  food menu includes traditional dishes that are local to the Mien Tay region - why not try some?

The Mekong Delta, in Vietnamese: "đồng bằng sông Cửu Long" (Nine Dragon river delta) is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries. The Mekong Delta forms both the far southern region of Vietnam and one of country's two main ricebowls. Dominated by the Mekong River and its many tributaries, the surrounding lands are comprised of low lying rice paddies and the rivers are bordered by dense mangroves and palms. The tributaries of the hectic Mekong River highway provide a comprehensive network of canals and channels acting as on and off ramps to the main throughfare.

Additionally, the region is home to a large aqua cultural industry offering a great choice of dishes abundance of fish and vegetation. Today, Mien Tay is a popular tourist destination for foreigners and Vietnamese from across the country looking for wonderful sceneries, natural and authentic. And above all, they are looking for the taste from this region with a large variety of dishes.

These photos are so beautiful! Thanks for the info etc too. I'd love to go to this event, but will be in Scotland that week. Are there other similar events in the pipeline? Thanks for organising this.
