Hey everyone,

I was thinking about ideas for talks, so I thought I'd start a discussion for this sort of thing. Feel free to post ideas for talks you'd like to give in the future, ideas that you think would make for an interesting talk (you need not give them yourself), or even ideas for talks you'd like to see someone else present!

I'll start:

  • Talking about creating/maintaining syntax files (maybe not the most interesting topic, but there's not a lot of material on this, and it's something I've been doing a lot lately)
  • Talking about "using Vim outside of Vim". This covers applications that have a "Vim mode", like vim keybindings for bash/zsh, Vimperator/Vimium, etc.

I had another idea after talking about this with some colleagues: what's new in Vim 7.4!
