A 2 to 3 hour interactive presentation with the world famous Kenny Dreer, Norton America founder and creator of the revival of the Norton brand.
this will be the 3rd time Kenny has done a show at the museum and previous shows were standing room only. This time we have a LOT more room, don't be shy, bring your friends.
This will be a multi-media presentation with pictures, film and live one on one hands on demos of parts, prototypes, cad/cam designs and a whole prototype Norton bike along with many of the parts from the evolution of the vintage Commandos of the Vintage Re-builder days to the clean sheet design of the modern bikes Kenny Brought back to life. Culminating in Kenny's investors selling the whole thing out from under him to Stuart Garner of the UK.
You will hear in depth discussion of the process and history of this as well as the technical side of the business. How prototypes were developed, parts were made, setbacks and success's. See and ouch these parts in person including a Norton head rapid prototypes out of cornflakes (REALLY!) castings, molds, dies, and broken parts, discussed and walk you through the process and how it was done and the wheel barrow loads of the cash it takes to do this.
Then, Kenny will talk about the motorcycle business itself and the moment everyone's waiting for,.. The gossip about the UK Norton company and as Kenny says "Garner is only a soldier in a LONG line of Norton owners, the story continues" so you will hear the gossip of whats happening now and the true future of the Norton brand. Magazines and newspapers are wondering what will happen, you will hear it first in public.

The Museum is located off Interstate I-5 exit #263, just a few miles North of Salem and 8 miles South of Woodburn, take exit #263 and go west 1/4 mile to the Antique Powerland facility entrance. (PLEASE WATCH YOUR SPEED) the NW Vintage car and motorcycle museum is near the end of the access road.
