Hatha Vinyasa Flow Yoga in English and Spanish

Minimum of two people signed up for the class for the class to happen. Please note that if you change your RSVP at the last minute, it can cause the class to be cancelled.

This is an all levels Vinyasa Flow yoga class on Wednesday evening from 7:00 pm till 8:15pm. Location: Luz de Paz in Calle Provenca in Eixample. Barcelona.

Strengthening the body and mind through synchronised breathing and flowing movement, Vinyasa Flow class utilises movement as well as stretching. The smooth way the poses run together then become like a dance. Each pose flows fluidly and dynamically into the next pose. A variety of postures like Sun Salutations, standing poses, balancing postures, seated and reclining poses, backbends, core isolation and strengthening are done to cultivate balance, flexibility, strength and endurance. We learn to use pranaynama: various techniques of controling the breath that have either a calming or stimulating effect, quiet the mind and control the energy in the body. Emphasis is placed on moving into and out of postures safely, correct alignment, using the breath, and learning to quiet the chatter of the mind to find peace and inner stillness.

We have yoga mats at the center you can use. If you are interested in buying a mat, you can go to Woki Wok & Ecomarket on Carrer Asturias #22 in barrio Gracia. Closest metro is Fontana.
