The 6th Annual Ride for Jill's House

Jill's House is a full-service, overnight respite center that renews families through much needed breaks while providing a safe, fun environment that celebrates children with intellectual disabilities. The funds raised through the Ride will help support the on-going operations of Jill's House. The 6th Annual Ride for Jill's House continues in the memory of Steve Schirmann who shared this passion for children with special needs. Contributions are tax deductible and can be made by credit card. 

The Ride for Jill's House is a 100-mile ride organized by the 'on His Road' City Impact Ministry at McLean Bible Church to support Jill's House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian organization. 

Registration Opens: 8:30am

Kickstands Up: 10:00am

Ride for Jill's House: 10:00am - 1:00pm

Lunch & Tours: 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Registration includes pin, patch, t-shirt, breakfast, lunch, donation to Jill's House and ticket for raffle prizes.

      I apologize Ed. I was talking to them about getting it resolved and they definitely had my registration and I provided all of your information to transfer it. I don't know where it went south. My Ride Like A Pro class was great, but I went down on my bike doing low-speed high lean figure 8 turns and had to have it towed from Waldorf, Md., to Manassas Honda. It cost nearly $300! Good thing I have breakdown and towing insurance as part of my AARP motorcycle coverage through Foremost. They paid $250 of the tab. My bike is in the shop for several days it looks like. I'm OK -- mostly bruised ego -- nothing that can't be cured with a hot bath and some 30-year-old Glenlivet.

    When clicking the link to the ride, the website loads with a message that the event has been disabled. We sure this ride is still on? I poked around on the Jill's Ride website on my smartphone and didn't see any references to it but it's not a mobile-friendly website so maybe I need to check on a PC.
