WV Twisties Ride

I've had to shorten this ride a bit but still a great ride.

Kick stands up at 9 AM. Last time we scheduled this ride we got rained out. Come on... lets do this!

Here's route. It's a pretty full day.

Good ride. Good people. Sorry I bugged out early; those curves were calling sport side of my sport-touring nature. Thanks for the fun.

Looks like a great ride. I'm pretty sure I met you guys on 55, I was headed the other direction on my way into work...it was painful...

John, where are we having lunch? I have some friends near Harrisonburg I might be able to convince to join in for a bite if it is there - would need an approximate time and place though.

Seneca Rocks has a little store and I think there's a lunch counter thing at the back but I've never eaten anything there but Snicker bars. Franklin has a few places. A pizza place and a Subway. Seems like one of the gas stations has a food place in it. I rode this route with a couple other guys a few months ago. We grabbed some snacks at Seneca Rocks and had a late lunch in Harrisonburg where there's plenty to choose from.

I was really looking forward to this ride, but unfortunately have to back out. Sorry for the late notice, but I'm having "bad back issues" and it's feeling too crappy to do such a long ride. Enjoy the ride and hope to catch up with you next time

I waited to see how I'd feel after my dental surgery yesterday. Seven stitches and still swollen jaw means ice, max tylenol and no helmet for a few more days! (Soft food for the next 2 weeks is just a minor complication!) Enjoy!

Question: Since I have a Nightster with Stage 1 intake, exhaust, etc. I am pushing fumes at around 90 miles. Would it be a drag on the group if I came?

I hate it, but I"m not going to be able to make this ride either. We are heading to Snowshoe for the RR Weekend next week and have to get some work done. Hope to see some of you at Snowshoe.

You're killin' me with this. I really want to do this route but I'm already leading a WV ride the same day with a different group.
