Please bring sunscreen, warm and cold weather clothing, rain gear. I will provide ice and water. Bring other drinks, and maybe some sort food for yourself and other crew. There will be room for three people plus myself. Plan on being back early evening, there is a party at the boat club feel free to stay for it.

Thanks again Chris for sharing your boat and your knowledge. Great day. Thanks also to Bob and Maureen who both knew how to do everything I didn't.

Great. That works for me. I'll be there before 10:15. I'll bring some easy finger food to share.

Chris, The meetup is posted as 10:15 but I noticed you wrote that you were hoping to make the 9:15 bridge opening. What time do you want us to arrive? (I may have to adjust my early morning plans.)

I'll bring some lunch fixings and snacks, will do my best to make it a bit more "unhealty" in honor of the the Capt! I will also bring along my bottle of "Swizzle" for the non-beer drinking crew! Give me any specifics for food...see what I can come up with. Will be there early, I promise Chris. Hoping for another fine day on the water! That was awesome on Sunday!

Is there room for others to join? The event is open, but it says there is room for 4, and 5 have already signed up.

Also, I have no sailing experience (other than as a passenger). Is that ok? If not, blame Maureen, since she insisted I sign up for this group :) This sounds like so much fun!

Funny Janet...I said sign up for the group and come with us on Sunday, it was gorgeous out there and just Chris and I. Pretty sure that its full for July 4th, but keep checking for another time for sure! It was great meeting you and yes, we'll have to do it again sometime soon!!

Google maps has 225 main in the wrong location. The boat club is in Eliot near the kittery town line on ME 103. After finding a place to park head down the gangway near the clubhouse. Walk straight until the end. The fuel dock is slightly to the left we will meet there. My dinghy is white fiberglass. Please be on time or a bit early I would like to make the 915 bridge opening. Feel free to call with ?. [masked]

Deborah you signed up before me..so you have a place for sure. I am just on the rsvp in case someone can't make it at the last minute.

Is there a time stamp? I know that when I responded the only other names were Bob and Maureen, but I see that C. Kelly is listed below me so perhaps she responded moments before I did.

2 things. The party at the boat club is on the 3rd not the 4th.
Too many people have RSVP'd this is not all that hard. Three people plus myself equals four. Not 5. I would recommend that the last person to RSVP to cancel thank you.

Hi Chris I see that you have a full boat. I hope you have a great 4th of July.

Do you have any more room for the July 4th day sail?

    June 28, 2013

  • Deborah Z.

I'd love to join you. I'm a novice sailor and anxious to learn.
