I will be sure to post when the musical comedy about the fishing industry comes out. In the meantime, I'll remain on the lookout for flicks that reflate to life in, on or near the water. ;^)

I think .00025 of one viewing was too much!

    One viewing was enough.

Needed some dialog or subtitles to know what was going on.

Subtitles would have made such a difference... especially the showed scene... lol

Sorry. I couldn't take it. That was very, very painful. I wanted to like it. I went to Emerson and everything. Not good.

Tough movie. Though I appreciate the artistic themes and the rigor of ocean fishing (dare I say the horrors?), the film dragged in numerous places as it made its points about boredom, harshness, and the stripping of the seas.

What a tease! Have fun. Please update your RSVP, so I don't linger in the hallway with the wrong count. Hope to see you soon.

Having learned a small lesson about meeting up at the movies a week ago, I suggest we all plan to meet at The Loft at 6:30. I'll post a note about what I'm wearing that day to ease gathering though our group is fairly large and will be pretty obvious. So we get good seats - and together - I think the earlier arrival is worth the effort. Happy to cross the road or trot down the street for a post-movie chat with anyone who is interested. No need to commit to that now. The movie is the primary entertainment!

Well, shoot, I'm flying to Sedona that day. Can't wait to have some days out of this cold. I really want to make a meeting one of these days!

Hard to quibble with that! BTW, took your advice posted re: sailing lessons. Spending 9 days learning in Barrington, RI in early May at Narrragansett Sailing. Should make me viable crew for sure. ;^)
