“We’re Right! Why Compromise? Judaism and Tribalistic Thinking.”
Join us for an engaging dialogue on co-existence!
On Tuesday, April 10, The Graduate Institute will host the second in its series of four lectures focused on encouraging interfaith communication in the community. Rabbi Alvin Wainhaus of Congregation Or Shalom in Orange will explore Judiasm’s message for co-existence in a presentation entitled “We’re Right! Why Compromise? Judaism and Tribalistic Thinking.” Rabbi Wainhaus, son of Holocaust survivors, has immersed himself in the Jewish and secular life of the community and is highly regarded as a spiritual leader, educator, and lecturer on a wide range of religious and secular issues. His involvement in interfaith activities throughout Greater New Haven has earned him the respect and admiration of Jews and non-Jews alike.
Rabbi Wainhaus' lecture takes place from 7 to 8:30 pm. Dialogue and refreshments to follow. All are welcome to attend, even if you have not attended previous lectures in the series.
We hope to see you there!
