Each rest stop will be well stocked with organic, whole foods. The 65 and 100 mile rides include a substantial lunch. After the ride, there will be a delicious vegan meal for all the riders. The post-ride meal is open from 11a.m-5p.m - please pace yourself accordingly. The post-ride meal will be served inside the VFW hall. Massage therapists will on hand to soften stiff legs and backs after the ride. They are charging $1/minute.
Not interested in riding? Volunteers needed.
To clarify the organizer listed for this meet, "veganlicious" is kind of confusing for a few people. The account is a facilitator (but not a real person) so we could post more community related events without feeling like we totally had to attend... Often we hear about or are asked to post events we think the community might enjoy and we want to give others a chance to check out and enjoy these great events, get to hang with members of the VLV, setup ride shares, and generally feel like they belong and see who they know will be at the event (or make new friends).
We hope you don't mind; the organizer and other assistant organizers still organize the group and are the ones to contact for more information or with questions, we just use "veganlicious" as a facilitator account for posting community events that we may or may not be able to attend personally. If you want to meet up with others who RSVP for the event then email each other via the contact tools on their pages (and/or leave a note on the event expressing your wish).
We hope it's all cool and we can enjoy the really active and fun community we live in.
