10/11 An Evening of Grace

An Extraordinary SUNDAY SUPPER by Guest Chef Jeremy Judd, recently of Blossoming Lotus and Triumphant Chef-Coordinator and featured Chef for this year's Raw and Living Spirit Retreat. What we have planned is AN EVENING OF GRACE in Dinner Fare, Table Conversation, and in the free "Alive in Grace" workshop that follows.

Jeremy presents the this menu:

Hungarian Creamy Fresh Paprika Soup
Fresh Pesto atop Spiralized Beet & Sweet Potato Pasta
Grace Garden Salad
My Friend's Best Carrot Cake

5:30-6:30pm — Dinner and table conversation
$10-20 donation, sliding scale

THE WORKSHOP: 6:30-8:00pm (Optional) — Special presentation of Christ the Healer's "Alive in Grace" workshop (in lieu of the regular circle) This workshop teaches how to recognize the "map" of where you stand in life and relationships as reflected in your body. The Compass of Grace is a simple, universal spiritual practice designed to help you abide in the "kin-dom of grace" under all conditions. We're excited about sharing these insights with the Sunday Supper community in order that we may support one another in spiritual as well as physical health.

Upcoming events:

Dr T. returns to give another authoritative and powerful talk after Sunday Supper, from 7-9 pm. His topic this time is Cancer.
5:30-6:30pm — A scrumptious allergy-free dinner menu created by Rylee and Donna
6:30-7pm — (Optional) Christ the Healer's story and prayer circle (all traditions or none most welcome to join in)

I don't know why I haven't been eating like this all my life. It's so grounding and healing but more than that, it's just really good. I'm learning so much (I mean, who'd have thought beet and sweet potato "pasta" but it works) while also enjoying the company of some of the best people in PDX.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
