UPDATE: This event is full now. Thanks!

Raw SUNDAY SUPPER by Guest Chef Andy Williams

The weather is getting cold, and it's time for some WARM raw food. Andy will be coming to Sunday Supper and serving up some of his favorite WARM comfort-food raw recipes.

Andy's menu for this dinner is as follows:

Warm Onion Bread Sandwiches - Your choice of "Meatball" Marinara or Hummus avocado between a pair of the richest, warmest, softest, most delicious pieces of onion bread you've ever tasted!

Cheezy Mushroom Soup - Cheesy, and rich, and WARM! Once you taste it, you'll swear it's not raw, or even vegan...but it is!

Creamy Dill-Caesar Salad - Spinach, lettuce and other greens swim in a creamy garlic-dill Caesar dressing.

Chocolate & Raspberry Cheesecake* - You might remember these from the Raw and Living Spirit Retreat. Rich chocolate or sweet raspberry cream sits upon a tasty date-almond crust.

*As a special note, the recipe for this dessert can be accessed from the wonderful recipe e-book Andy put together of the meals from the Raw & Living Spirit Retreat. Contact him if interested in your own copy which includes raw falafel, pita, pancakes, spring rolls, soups, wraps and more.

NOTE: This event is limited to 40 attendees (combined on both meetup groups). Please RSVP early to ensure your spot!

This is a CATERED raw-vegan meal. Please RSVP here early or call Gabrielle at[masked] soon so we can be sure to prepare enough for everyone.

5:30 - dinner and sharing around the tables
6:30 to 7:00 (optional) - circle time, including story-discussion, and raw communion.

Attendees are asked to make a gift of $10 - $20 to help with expenses. No one is turned away for lack of funds, so those who can afford to make the larger gift, please help out by doing so.

We are also trying to help facilitate some carpooling for those who are living car-free or just want to combine rides to save money and/or resources. If you need a ride or have an extra seat please respond in the RSVP or call. Thanks!

Despite electrical SNAFUs both before & during, Andy still outdid himself. Raw does not mean deprivation. Scrumptious warm sandwiches & soup (which hardly describes how delightful & filling they were). And starting dinner with yummy cheesecake dessert was fun.

That was probably the most amazing meal I've ever had.
