"THE NEW LEAF" Raw Vegan Food Season Preview Tasting Event

  • June 11, 2010 · 6:30 PM

Hi Everyone,

Please join me at the Madison House Ballroom (in inner SE, near 20th & Hawthorne) in welcoming The New Leaf raw food cart back to Portland with a special tasting this Friday. Agnieszka is one of my favorite chefs doing amazing things with raw foods while showing much talent.

Be sure to RSVP with Agnieszka as well as here so she'll know how much food to make (plus the exact address will be given when confirming your presence with her).

Here's a note from Agnieszka detailing the evening:

The New Leaf! A food cart that offers wholly organic, freshly made, raw-vegan fare!

Greetings Friends!

Come enjoy, come share, and come get a sneak preview into The new New Leaf!

For those of you who are not familiar with The New Leaf, it is a food cart that offers wholly organic, freshly made, raw-vegan fare, and also is a vehicle for education about our food.

This is an invitation to celebrate the coming-out-of-hibernation of The New Leaf and more…

We will be celebrating the evening of Friday, June 11th, starting at 6:30pm -

And we’ll be tasting a new menu including, but not limited to:

  • Zucchini Pesto PastaA Creamy Almond Pesto with Fresh Basil and Hints of Marjoram, topped with Brazil-nut Parmesan
  • Kale Coalition SaladPurple and Green Kale, Purple Cabbage, and a special Garlic-Ginger Ka-Pow! Dressing

There will also be some newly improved dressings for you to try with local seasonal greens, as well as a new pesto and pate for your tasteful consideration. Other inspired treats will certainly be created as time allows!

We would love for any and all of you to come join in this gathering to welcome The New Leaf back into the Portland summer, to show your support, and to give feedback on how we can best serve and support you, our community. Please RSVP with The New Leaf directly at [masked], or by calling[masked], cost is $10 per person. Please let me know as soon as you are able, so I can make ample food in a peaceful manner -

Agnieszka put on an incredible event but then everything she does is done well so this was no exception including the yummy food, and lovely space. The people though at this event were so great to meet/see again, and chatter with. Such a pleasure to know you all. :)
