Much gratitude to Vega protein smoothies with frozen greens & berries which put the pep back in my step.
I went vegan on a lark after watching FORKS OVER KNIVES in fall of 2012. I've learned a lot since then and veganism has become incredibly important to me. I enjoy the pragmatic efficiency of it: 1 change improves my health, decreases animal suffering, and non-participates in the single most planet-harming industry. Now, that's what I call a full spectrum solution! // That said, I actually have to take back some of it, because I'm more of an herbivore than vegan (still wear leather, eat some traces of egg/milk in a few highly processed foods); I'm still inching forward on that scale.
I'm still devoting a good amount of time to remodeling. This summer I installed 17 solar panels and next spring I hope to have 2 new bathrooms & a new laundry. I host women's Euro-game nights weekly and attend ample quantities of live theater. Most years I go to NYC and I hope to go to England in either spring or fall of 2015 (when the remodels are over). I'll soon be experimenting with Air BnB (as a host). Stocks & bonds are fun to track occasionally, too. My favorite movies are audacity-filled true stories. I have a nice group of friends and sometimes I pick up juggling or elementary piano lessons.
