I hate picking favorites, but I always love a good pad thai, and Squid & Ink up in Seattle makes an INSANE vegan calamari. And I could probably eat their hash browns every day.
Been vegan for two years now (with a few hiccups in France). I'm vegan primarily for ethical reasons, but also because I love enjoying my food and living in a more life-affirming way.
I love to bake and have culinary adventures in the kitchen, and I find myself biking a whole lot now that I'm in a more bike-friendly city (NE Tacoma is made of hills and residential areas; nothing useful can be accomplished by bike). And I run!
Hey! I've just moved to Portland after months of shuffling around over large distances (France, Massachusetts, Tacoma), and I'm excited to put down some roots here. Plus, I miss the Worcester vegan meetups -- they got me hooked!
