Announcing a new Meetup for Viva La Vegan PORTLAND - Metro!

What: NW Veg's VEG 101 CLASS SERIES

When: October 4,[masked]:30 PM

Where:
Whole Foods Market
1210 NW Couch St
Portland, OR 97209
(503)[masked]

I took these classes after the Master Veg program (because I had no idea what to do with tofu, seitan, tempeh -- frankly they scared me which makes me laugh now) and Veg 101 was well worth the time with little overlap of the information from the other class series.

VEG 101 Classes -- Fall 2009
If you're a veg beginner ? or even if you're well beyond that stage -- VEG 101 is the right place to start! This course is a 6-week series, featuring both a lecture and a cooking class (with samples!) each week. The lectures will give you an excellent grounding in topics such as health, nutrition, factory farming, environmental impact, and related subjects. The cooking classes include grains, legumes, tofu, tempeh, seitan, and more. Past class members have told us that VEG 101 has changed their lives!

Registration for the fall series is now open.

Classes will be held on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:45 at the downtown Whole Foods store.*
