Idonix has over 12 years’ experience in real-time graphics for broadcast, presentation and the web, encompassing data integration, workflow and rendering.
Election shows are a prime example of where real-time data feeds must be ingested and processed, where producers need great workflow tools to play out graphics quickly and accurately, and where editors and talent need clear and informative information displays.
Idonix will share their experiences at the BBC US 2012 Election and recent BBC Budget shows, where IGNITION – an application framework for control systems development - was used to drive Vizrt lower thirds, full form, touchscreen and virtual studio graphics.
They will also be demonstrating how BBC Sport are using IGNITION to manage web based workflow and rendering of Vizrt data driven graphics for post and live applications. Presenting will be Pete Griffiths and Russell Leak.
Pete commenced his career at the BBC and has over 14 years experience with elections and live production. He started Idonix some 12 years ago with Co-director Paul Harrison.
Russell has over 15 years experience working in realtime graphics and virtual studio both from an operational/production stand point as well as business development and project management.
