This Meetup group started out as a way for me to share info on the shop 101 and other hands-on classes I was hosting. But since then the idea has grown, and we are in the process of starting a physical makerspace in the Inland Empire. A place where you can go to learn hands-on skills and be able to use those skills in a (large, fully equipped) dream workshop.
3D printing, laser engraving, machine shop, wood shop, sewing & crafts, CAD/CAM, Electronics, Robotics and much more!
We will also have basic classes that cover subjects such as: How to use hand tools, power tools, shop safety, measuring, machining, sewing, welding basics, shop math, blueprints and much more...
Practical knowledge for those in engineering schools, for high school and community college students, for hobbyists, inventor types, and those that want to join the new "do it yourself" generation!
We will also have free classes/seminars and on many different subjects and will post them here.
We are a school, a DIY academy, a hackerspace, a makerspace, a fablab and a dream garage, all rolled into one!
