The theme of this will be:
1. Recording and soundproofing!
The studio fits about 12-15 people, BUT we can organize renting out space for 30 - 35!
If you will be in NYC, or the tri-state area, and love voice overs, we would love to see you there!
Hey, its a Friday night, so if you want to grab a drink after, let's do it!
:)

The studio is located north of the R train on 23rd St. (Flatiron District), across the street from the park with Shake Shack in it.
Nice area too!
Posted by Steven Lowell November 19, 2010 at 3:45 PMHello!! Excited to meet you all and share "war stories" :-)
Posted by Heike Bachmann December 7, 2010 at 12:06 AMIf anyone has any topics they would like to discuss at the Meetup, in addition to the theme, please write them in here! :)
Posted by Steven Lowell November 20, 2010 at 5:40 PMThis is a good question and I am sure either myself or some of the other participants will be able to discuss this and share ideas.
Posted by David Zema November 20, 2010 at 10:56 PMHey, it doesn't matter! There is no hierarchy at a meetup. People bring what they can offer.
Trust me, I go to many meetups where I simply say, 'Ok. Time to listen.'
Being honest with yourself is a life-long trait that will serve you well.
Posted by Steven Lowell November 23, 2010 at 7:43 PMThat should be " a raffle of a door prize." Also, Eataly is a block away should we want to indulge afterward as you suggested, Steven!
Posted by David Zema November 19, 2010 at 10:40 PMSteven, Thanks for inviting me to be involved with this meet-up! There will be a raffleof a door prize for those who attend. No it isn't a soundproof door, but it will be a piece of sound proof foam that can be used for making a mic enclosure.
