Let your voice be heard!
Voices of Harmony is a group that creates cross-cultural understanding, and shares the wonderful sounds of music from cultures around the world. We invite all members of the community to join us in song and conversation!
Who: Everyone in the Boston area who’s interested in strengthening our diverse community through music and cross-cultural dialogue
When: Members meet Monday nights at 6:30 pm, except when otherwise noted (e.g. holidays). New members are welcome the first Monday of every month.
Where: The Tobin Community Center (1481 Tremont Street – a short walk from the Roxbury Crossing stop on the Orange Line)
After enjoying a light dinner together, we’ll learn a song or get to know each other through a meaningful conversation about diversity.
The choir - consisting of singers of all ethnicities, from all neighborhoods in the Boston area, and with a broad range of singing experience - is directed by Rebecca Booth-Fox in song and conversation. Each meeting includes time for learning and/or rehearsing songs from the rich repertoire of world music, and time for getting to know your neighbors through facilitated conversations about race, culture, and diversity in Boston .
Come lift your voice in song, and express your unique perspective in a respectful, caring community.
