Singing Practice - 4th Sunday

  • Apr 27, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We meet twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Sundays, from 6pm - 745pm. We practice at a house in Echo Park. The address is 724 E. Edgeware Rd., Los Angeles 90026. Use on google maps or this link because other maps services and GPS often get it wrong! If you have any trouble finding us, give us a call @ (424)[masked]

Here is a link to the music we're practicing. Each folder has the sheet music and mp3s of each vocal part sung by a computer voice.
Username: voices
Password: reason

Look over the music, but don't feel like you're expected to show up and know an entire tune. Rather, if you learn it just enough so you can follow the song, you'll enjoy the rehearsal a little more and your part will eventually fall into place.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.

Sorry for the last minute rsvp change. I strained something in my neck and I can't turn my head, so I don't think I can make it over today. :-/

Is this a group you need to be invited into or just show up? What is the age group? I am closing in on retirement age.
I love the name of your group "Voices of Reason". My thing has always been" I have no superstitions".
Can someone inform me as to the correlation of Lead in Barbershop to a choir part? I believe it is Tenor.

Hi, Jimmie! You can just come on Sunday. Check out the sheet music at the link above before you come. We'll be rehearsing a little bit of everything, but we will most likely be concentrating most on "Glory, Hallelujah!" "Woody Allen Jesus," Every Sperm is Sacred," and "How Deep is Your Love." Please print out the music, if you can. Our ages span a wide range, so that doesn't matter! And I can't tell you what part you sing, but we welcome anyone. We look forward to seeing you!
