VFC Valentine Challenge and Social

**A few more slots have opened up for the largest Volunteers for Change service project of the year. This is an opportunity for those of you who have not yet attended a VFC orientation to participate in an event. Due to space constraints, registration will be limited to the first 15 individuals who RSVP.**

Many college students rely on and look forward to care packages sent by their families throughout the year, but thousands of former foster youth can only watch their roommates and friends open boxes from home. That is why Foster Care to Success, in partnership with companies and corporations nationwide, delivers care packages three times a year.

Foster Care to Success and Volunteer Fairfax need your help making 2,500 valentines that will be included in the February packages. No creative skills are necessary! Drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day.

PLEASE NOTE: In order for me to have an accurate head-count for this event (and have enough food and supplies) and for me to send you the Reminder E-mail with parking info and directions, it is ESSENTIAL that you e-mail the VFC Program Coordinator, Jen Brown, at [masked].

Hi, Erika! Most definitely-- this is a family-friendly service event. The minimum age to participate with a parent or guardian is 0. :)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
