Stephen and Dr. Tom Goreau of Global Coral Reef Alliance will be speaking to the public about Vŏnē Research’s current project, the Biorock Artificial Reef in LBTS. Stephen and Tom will explain the Biorock technology and the progress of this unique coral reef restoration project which is the only one of its kind in the US. This presentation will take place during the LBTS BugFest festivities and will be part of a fundraiser for the purchase of a wave generator to help power the project. Also presenting is Lauren DiPerna an MBA student at Babson College who will discuss marketing and fundraising for our Biorock project.

Please come support Stephen and Vŏnē Research and meet the brilliant Dr. Goreau who has built hundreds of Biorock artificial reefs around the world.

I agree wholeheartedly with Martin. It was also nice to see the photos and videography of all the hardworking volunteers. Thanks again, to Marc Furth for his spectacular photography. Thanks also, to Kim Porter for her video clips.

See you all on the Rock!!!

Great prezo, Stephen and Tom! It was good to be reminded of the fundamentals of the project as well as to see the excitement of the local community for the project. Now, if we can just get some extra funding to make it more efficient, that would be great!
