Biorock Coral Transplantation and Fun Dive

We will be harvesting more corals of opportunity to transplant to the Biorock Project. We are approved by the State of Florida to transplant 100 corals, 12 species in all. We have successfully attached 69 corals thus far. Please sign up if you would like to help restore  the coral reef in Lauderdale by the Sea. We will do a fun dive after the coral work.

Please note that the R/V fills up fast. We make every effort to accommodate all volunteers who have shown interest in working on the Biorock project and have completed a Vŏnē Research HQ work day and/or have contributed time to helping us accomplish the goals of our non-profit. A waiting list will be set up for this event, so please sign up if you are interested for this Biorock project dive or a future one.

Vŏnē volunteers can also kick off from the LBTS Datura Avenue portal and join us on location.

See you on The Rock!

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your help on Sunday and braving the jelly fish at the coral harvest site and the very rough ocean conditions at the Biorock Project. We had a wonderful haul of corals, all beautiful specimens. Your efforts and enthusiasm are much appreciated!
