Coral I.D. Course at Force-E Boca

Calling all divers, snorkelers and coral reef enthusiasts!

Please join our Force-E friends for a FREE 1.5 hour Stony Coral Identification class on Thursday, May 8th 2014. The class will be held at Force-E Boca starting at 7 pm. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early by registering below:

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This course will introduce you to the 15 most common species of stony corals found offshore of southeast Florida from Miami-Dade through Martin counties (the northern third of the Florida Reef Tract). You will also learn about the importance, restoration, and protection of coral reefs. All participants will receive a copy of the training documents for future reference. This class is intended for adults, but is also appropriate for young budding marine biologists ages twelve and up.
