PADI AOW/Rescue -heading towards Master Diver Certification. Max depth thus far is deeeep. Re-Certified with PADI in June, 2013.
No, have not done any underwater work yet.
I work out of the house for IBM and have no issues with travel. Have my own gear and tanks. I can dive pretty much any day of the week after 3pm or on weekends. Other times, if needed, I can reschedule as needed (with a little notice).
We have to protect our natural resources. Both on land and under water. Between global warming, storms and human activity including pollution, things are degrading - this is our world. We all have that in common. I strongly believe that we need to protect and repair as necessary.
I'm an engineer by trade (software, project management) and also act as a photo-journalist (part time). I write for the International Press Association and other publications. Time is cheap, but I don't have much free time - need to be careful about over-committing - This is a good cause. What time I do give will be quality time. I write often and would love to learn more and publish the activities and findings of the team. Scuba skills: I am already registered for AOW training. Being a part of the team works in both ways - I'm learning from you, and can donate time and above skills to help educate more people.
I'm an Engineer and Photographer. PADI Master Diver Certified. Have assisted in Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory cataloging of Bald Eagle project, Nature and Wildlife photographer and give back to non-profits often. Happy to be part of Vone!
