R.E.E.F. fish surveys. Random embarrassing coral reef projects for education programs.

How much time would you expect to devote to volunteering?

several hours biweekly to monthly

How can we make a difference in our oceans?

mandatory marine science education in K-12 curricula.

What special skills can you bring to the team?

Obscure Algal & Invertebrate Lore. Snooty Academic Pronunciation of Species Names. High Contrast Underwater Profile. Will Eat Stale Food.

I'm a biology professor at the local community college. Most of my professional training is in west Atlantic marine critters. I enjoy most kinds of cheese, and salamis. My scuba configuration is so amazing it will make your head explode.
