So - creative Warrington, what do you need to get you inspired for 2013? What's missing in the town? What would you like to see more of to get you suitably inspired?

Ultimately, you need to be involved to make this all work out, so what do you want to see? Pop-up events, exhibitions, take-overs, more meetups, hack-days, festivals...? What's going to get you out and involved this year? Time to step up. Answers below! :)

Some kind of creative collaboration from all creatives, don't know whether this be in the form of a short film about Wazza, some funky art piece where everyone contributes a little something that builds up an image of Warrington. I don't know - just spewing out some ideas off the top of my head!

A short film about what WA creative is and the people who are in it (speciality)? Have we got a directory of all the members where we can search by their specialistism?

We can absolutely pull together something similar to the film we showed at the Non Conference last year, showcasing what's going on with WAcreative and what it's all about. A directory is a good idea too - these are definitely things that I can work on. Thanks! :)

However, I was thinking more about what is missing from Warrington itself? Is it lacking a short-film night, a talent-showcase, exhibitions etc. What are the things that you would find inspiring?

Thanks Viv - sounds good :) I like the sound of the collaborative piece, where it grows over time. There's some interesting street art in Amsterdam that's built around this concept and that seems to work really well... Will have to see if there's anything we can work on along these lines! Thanks!

I would like to see more public events encouraging people to drop-in and try something creative. Perhaps persuade The Pyramid to have an Open Saturday with different activities in different parts of the building. For example the main space could have a drama group running a walk-in acting class, upstairs could have 'learn to draw' sessions, the video equipment could be used for people making a five minute film inside the building, and other spaces could have dance, writing, knitting, whatever people want.
