Because you need a workout. Come and have the most fun you can possibly have on 2 wheels! This is Cyclocross! You Ride until you bang your head against the wall. Then you do 2 more laps.
Whats great about CX rides is that you get to set your own pace and stay with a group? Well sort of. The route is really a course that loops around and around. So you get to pass me several times. It may take you 10mins to do a loop or 25mins. It doesn't matter. The point is regardless of the weather, you'll be on your bike with a smile! Don't have a cross bike, not to worry, mountain bikes work just as well and you'll be stronger than ever after just a few weeks. Can't make 5pm? Come at 5:15, we'll be there, playing in the park. Currently I have a course at Robe Ann Park and am rebuilding one at Big Walnut. I will be exploring other areas very soon. I've been riding the Robe Ann and Big Walnut for 2 years cause they are close to home. So dust off the mountain bike or put knobbys on the city cruiser and come play. Its the hardest workout you can get in one hour.
