TGIF: Get Your Gin On!

New event series! After a full year of wine, we're going to learn more about liquors and cocktails!

In this event we'll talk about gin and how to use it, and we'll try the various drinks you can make using gin. This event will have you being the life of the party in no time!

Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer to share while various gins and drinks will be provided.

The $5 event fee is to help pay for the cost of liquor and presentation, as well as to secure your RSVP so unnecessary expenses are made for no shows and late cancellations.

Dinner:

Crab canapes
Olive & goat cheese spread w/crostini
Blue cheese dip w/crackers
Hummus
pumpernickel bread w/cream cheese, cucumber & dill
cold cuts

Chicken alfredo & artichokes ravioli bake
Cheese tortellini bake
Ceasar salad

Chocolate ganache tart
Cherry tartlettes
Baklava

Share your favorite drink recipe using gin for this blogging adventure!

1) Make a cocktail or drink recipe using gin and create a blog post about it from now until the midnight, JULY 18th.

2) Add a link back to my blog within your blog post, Joelen's Culinary Adventures.

3) Send an email with the following information to [masked]:
- Title of the blogging adventure in subject line
- Your name
- Your state, country location
- Your food blog name & link to your event entry
- Picture of your entry

You can participate even if you don't have a blog. Non-bloggers can email the above information (sans blog details) and I'll include it in the round up.
