Introduction
I, like the WFMU faithful, have been a music-head all my life. I recently owned the li'l music venue in the East Village called Banjo Jim's. It was a fun 6 years but this economy could not keep us afloate. We closed last summer. But the beat goes on!
How did you first discover WFMU?
When i was a teenager in the late 70's. I have been listening ever since!!!!!!
What's your favorite WFMU show?
love Irwin Chusid and Irene Trudell and many others! I miss weekly church with Alan Watts!! I also love when Dennis Diken fills in as guest DJ.
Why do you listen?
WFMU is a rare resource that presents music for the love of what it sounds like, not by how much cash it can generate based on how good the so called musician(s) looks or dances.
