I don't think you should be charging for these.

Renee, we only charge for events where we incur expenses. When it is critical that we know how many people are coming for space and food considerations we have found that fees yield a more reliable number. Don't hesitate to give me a call if you have additional questions or concerns[masked]

Members refers to dues paying members of Women in Film & Video. All of our programs are open to non-members as well and that is one reason the MeetUp group was established. We work diligently to present high-quality, low-cost events available to anyone interested in a media career in this area. We bring our connections to bear in developing panels of industry professionals willing to share their expertise. Our Meet the Funders series is one example - many of these decisionmakers are unable to meet with people individually but were willing to work with us to give an inside view to how their agencies work.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
