A Visit to North Carolina Wine Country

SOLD OUT (they don't have any more spots left for this date).

Explore the history of the wine-making process and how each of the locations has its own distinct flavors and characteristics. In addition to sampling award-winning wines, you will follow the course of the grape starting from a young vineyard and then moving to three well known wineries where you see the finished product and learn about the many aromas, the basic components of wine and the important role they play in creating a balanced wine. Meet the actual winemakers and go behind the scenes to learn their secrets in what it takes to create your favorite wines.

This is an exclusive wine tour recommended for those who are extremely passionate about wine and learning about North Carolina's wine country. It is a leisurely paced tour lead by a certified sommelier, allowing you to visit four select boutique wineries and vineyards, many of which only sell their wines exclusively from their wineries. At each one you will meet and talk with the wine makers and/or owners while relaxing on their private patios overlooking breathtaking views, explore inside their beautiful tasting rooms and visit their working vineyards, where the wine begins. Each winery is very different from one another and each one offers something special just for you. This unique experience includes a personal tour of each of the 4 wineries/vineyards, private tastings, and a chocolate wine & food pairing. Each Premier Wine Tour is unique and may vary from tour to tour. This is truly an unforgettable experience in North Carolina wine country, which will leave you feeling like you are part of the family, all while you take in the magnificent, panoramic views of the mountains and indulge in the beauty of the rolling hills and picturesque flora of each of the vineyards.

Wine at lunch is not included however the winery where we eat does offer wines by the glass. Wines are $5.00 a glass or you can purchase a bottle, pricing varies on the type you purchase- if you do not finish it we make room in the vehicle to keep it as well as all other wines that you may purchase throughout the day (the vineyards you visit do not distribute outside of their winery).

Wine Purchases - We are often asked how we handle guest purchases of wine at the vineyards- We will be providing you with tasting sheets for each of the vineyards we visit-if wines are purchased we attach it to your tasting sheet so its easy for you to take at the end of the day and there is no confusion with other guest. We also have a cooler on board, during really hot days we will keep wines in the cooler to avoid overheating.

Scott, we can car pool together. Your house isn't too far from mine, but I'm not sure which one would be on the way to Hendersonville from the other. When you are sure you can go, I can get a check from you (maybe when I'm at your party in a few weeks).
