Survival and Thrival Basics: Who, what, when, where and why.

We will briefly discuss what our individual goals are and what our next steps are to help ourselves and each other be in our outcome.

At this meeting we will also start the process of how we may (or not) cooperate with each other in the event of an event.

I invite all to come early (around 5 pm) to dine together.

We may eat in the Community Room or regular Dining Room at Earthfare.

This meeting will be 50% getting to know each other and 50% progress on a plan (plus or minus 50%).

Everybody is welcome!

This group is a great "core group". We appear to be expanding in numbers rapidly and we welcome our friends and family to come and participate. Our wealth is our collective intelligence and cooperation.
Everybody participated with questions and answers.
    Thank you all for being.

Excellent meeting. I was lucky to have found this group. I like the way Art sees our present situation as a positive opportunity instead of the end of the world which is how I see it.

I really enjoyed this meet up. Art had a well organized plan and agenda, the people were engaged and open and diverse and I look forward to attending again.

Hi all, I'm a new member here and real excited to attend my frist meeting. I like the idea of a sunday supper meeting as I work late through the week. Sounds like a good group and somewhere like Earthfare with a more private space would let us really meet and talk where everyone can hear and share. Sunday Sept. 18th is great for me.

I would much prefer EarthFare to a buffet. I am on a restricted diet and do not want to pay for a buffet where I feel I have to eat a bunch of things I don't want in order to get my money's worth. At EarthFare I might just eat some bulk seeds instead of spending anything for the very expensive food. Firestorm and Greenlife seem like good alternatives too.

I suggest a weekday evening. It's good not to have to cook after working. Personally, I need at least three weeks notice for scheduling my work into the area of the meeting since I travel a four state area. Greenlife Grocery has a similar setup as Earthfare, but being closer to downtown, may be a congested area on a weeknight.

Good Idea Gayatri. What are the facilities like? Can we have a group meeting also?
I was/am looking into Earthfare because they have a variety of food and a meeting place where we can eat and/or talk without bothering other people. By the time Sept. rolls around we may need a large meeting place.
    Let's continue discussing the possibilities.
Any other good locations? We don't need to eat, and we can.
Sometimes it is good to have a dinner, casual conversation then a meeting.
