This is Ila Hatter's website. She is an experienced wildcrafter/forager and has all sorts of resources on her site from foraging DVD's to wild food cookbooks, and so on. She does events that are reasonable throughout the year in various places and is also on Facebook.

I purchased the 3 video set on 1 DVD last week and am in the process of watching it now. I think it will be something that I have to watch over and over with my field guide book. I'm happy to bring the DVD for a meetup at the library or somewhere that we can use a DVD player to share it with the group.

They have a 5 disc "Backyard Remedies" DVD series that is extremely detailed and useful. Check 'em out.

The Appalachian/Blue Ridge/Smokey Mountains are rich in plants that have been used for centuries as medicine. Journey through these mountains with Owl Woman and Turtle Man and learn the remedies and see the plants they come from.
