Let's Go Ice Skating!

Blades in Rio Rancho has public skating on Sundays from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m.

We’ll meet around the front entrance to Blades.
The address is 801 Loma Colorado, which is just south of Northern Blvd, on the west side of the road – you can’t miss it.

The cost is $7.00 rink fee, $3.00 shoe rental plus tax ($10.70).  If you have shoes, bring them and save the rental fee. If you just want to watch and not skate, there is a $1.00 entry fee.

We’ll meet at 2:45 p.m. and go in together as a group. There is the possibility of a group rate if we have 10+, but we would have to pay all at one time, so bring small bills just in case we can get the lower rate and can save everyone a couple of bucks each.

We have the group rate - so the total cost will be $8.60 each (this includes tax), and includes skate rental. Cost is the same if you bring your own skates. Group rate is for 10 or more people and will need to be paid at one time. So please have the correct amount of money with you when you come. I'll have some loose change but not a whole lot.
We will need to go in as a group, so if you come late and miss us (we will go in at 3pm) you'll need to pay the individual rate ($10.70).
Dress warm, bring warm gloves. There is a snack bar there and they have great hot cocoa. See you on Sunday!

I haven't been on skates in years but I love to ice skate. I'm looking forward to meeting you all at this meetup. Do they play music too?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
